Well, if they don't, I've done some googling around among the sites of my
shortlisted hosts, here are two that definitely allow it.
dotable.com (by ticket request)
hostnine.com (.htaccess)
Here's the whole list if you want to check them out yourself - all are
highly recommended by genuine customer reviews on webhostingtalk and
elsewhere for honesty, excellent support and customer-service attitudes -
definitely not the mass-market oversellers that currently dominate the
