For the month of March, the sites I collected stats for (20 small
business sites scattered around the country, no e-commerce) are
averaging around 76% for IE (all Windows flavors), 15% gecko (Firefox,
mozilla and Netscape) and Safari less than 5%. Opera isn't on the radar
much at all, at least not identified as Opera, but Konqueror shows up on
the majority of sites. Surprisingly, so does Links. :)
There are some extremes, driven by the target audience.
One site with a fairly high percent of Mac users was 54% WinIE, 31%
gecko, 15% Safari. Another with a high percent of AOL users was skewed
the other way with about 90% IE and 5% gecko.
YMMV, of course.
