'in the spirit of the open source community'? wtf is that? my time is not
open source. eveything i do is a balance between trading time for money and
money for time. while i'm young, i have time and i trade it for money. that
way when i'm old, i'll have money to trade for time. that's some of the best
advice my dad ever gave me.
why do you ask your boss for a paycheck? afterall, you seem to think time is
valueless. and in this 'open source community', how many php sites are
*professionally* developed do you think? how many consultants (including
myself) do you think offer their services, time, and experience for free?
don't be so naive.
as for what constituted mho, well...i was making a point. one that you
clearly missed. you can't expect to ask someone to do/give something
(especially time) without so much as an offer of compensation. unless of
course, you plan to get posts exactly like the one i gave.
(love your nym, btw...asdf...that's great. when you nymshift, does your
alternate become jkl;)
