OK, at the start of your table you have:

<table>
<table width="37%" cellpadding="6" cellspacing="0"
bordercolor="#FFFFFF">

The first <table> is superfluous.

The cellpadding is what is giving you the gaps. I also note that your
figures might look better right aligned. So try changing it to this:

<style><!-- .table1column2{text-align:right} --> </style>
<table width="35%" cellpadding="2" cellspacing="0"
bordercolor="#FFFFFF">
