KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION WILL INCLUDE:

· Trans-Act SQL Development
· Data Modeling
· Building and Implementing database standards and conventions
· Business Requirements gathering
· Data Mining
· Technical Documentation

REQUIREMENTS:

· 2+ consistent years of experience as a Microsoft SQL Server DBD
· A solid knowledge of Transact-SQL and the SQL Server environment
(SQL Server 2005 would be an asset).
· Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
· Data Modeling using tools such as ER Studio, Erwin and/or Visio
· Experience with backups & recovery methods
· Solid understanding of SQL environment (Job Agents, Security, DTS,
Management, Replication, etc)
· Good communication skills
· A general understanding of the three tiers of application
development
· Initiative and autonomous
· Experience with SQL Server 2005 is an asset
