Just out of curiosity, is this like a clone of Matt Wright's FormMail
written in Perl but just better?

I've written a nice little PHP FormMail myself, a "Lite" version to
start with that's customizable and fast, quite pretty if I do say so
myself ;) and works almost "out the box" (it comes with a very well
written manual).

I couldn't tell you anything about IMAP, but why a DB? Is that so all
mails are stored until the admin deletes them? Beware of things like SQL
injection and so forth if you're going the DB route. But you probably
know about stuff like that.
