I personally dont know mssql, but it mySQL, the error would lie in
that non-numerical entires must be surrounded by '"' so try
$Query = sprintf(INSERT INTO users (username, emailaddress)
VALUES(\"%s\", \"%s\")', $_POST["username"], $_POST["emailaddress"]);
