Reply to php session was not working on the firefox

I have the some login script at web server and $_session doesn't work
when i try to access it
from my home with firefox. I don't have any problem with IE.
I found some people have similar problem when you have the norton
firewall installed on your pc.
I do have norton firewall enabled but how come it works for IE and not
with Firefox?
