I found the Swish interface to be a subset of Flash and very
limiting. I do agree to make canned animations it is easier. I also
seem to recall that Swish was always about a version and a half behind
Flash.

In The Flash environment the core functions (via actionscript) can be
changed. I can inherit and change the functionality of any class or
object in Flash.
