Yes...PHP and MySql so closely used in the industry its almost
impossible to learn PHP without learning MySql.

Now, about the topic of posting his question in this group. Yes it was
not the best place to post it, but Rami could have simply answered his
question, and politely informed him that this is not the appropriate
newsgroup to post those kinds of questions. Instead he was as I said and
ass. Maybe you guys forgot what its like being new and not even knowing
what group to post questions. I'm new enough that I still remember times
when I wasn't sure whether or not to post in MySql or PHP when I had a
problem. Some of you need to relax its not like he asked how to perform
a mail merge with word, he wanted an easier way to access his database
than through php.
