By that deficient logic do you think it's a good idea to make websites
that the Amish can't see?

Just as there are Amish in the real world who openly reject a lot of
technological forms (including magazines) there are the Amish of the
Internet, who simply cannot deal with much outside of plain black text
on a white background. These sorts of people are often using "horse
and buggy browsers" that often neuter their ability to view and enjoy
content that is produced using higher end forms like Flash.
