Yes, I am very new to PHP. I did get it to work though. I was trying
to use my php code on my *.html page and not on a *.php page. After I
fixed that it worked fine though I did discover a way to use it on a
*.html page, but I think I will stick with a seperate *.php page for
now. Thanks though for the info about xampp; I think I will check that
out. I don't intend to go public as it is just a simple web/file server.
