you're too single minded rather than solution driven. if that is the goal,
it can all be done in php. so, now using css, html, and php (a standard
practice) you get everything you just described. what you said *could not*
be done outside of flash.

i almost hope you keep your head up your ass. it's been there so long, the
build up must be phenominal. at least if it did happen though, the slurping
SSTHWAAAAT would be heard in time by all in order to run for cover. only
problem is, the stench would spread farther than the sound would travel.
