I don't practice clinically, but I do have a degree in psychology,
yes. I would assume that counts?
Of course, my degree is from VA Tech, so perhaps that might not be
good enough? :)

One of the first rules here (I've gathered) is that anyone can do what
they want. But others have the innate "right" to judge them for it,
right or wrong.
If you can judge OMH for being a prick, I can judge nutjobs like
newbie for being obsessive and fruit loopy.

Apparently, he's had people hating him for YEARS. And I really doubt
that you're the first to insult his manhood. But for SOME reason, you
think that YOU saying that (really, one of the oldest insults known to
man) would hurt him????
Please, do give me a break.

My tiny degree in psychology would SUSPECT that newbie has a few
issues. But my burgeoning grasp of how things are done here in "teh
usenets" (to coin a OMH phrase) decrees that, the more you whine,
bitch and scream, the more "owned" you are. The more time that you
spend worrying over insults gotten, the more owned you are. The more
"revenge" you seek to inflict, the more "humiliation" you attempt to
serve, the more owned you are.
It's a matter of pride, I would say. And newbie has lost ALL his. So
has "Personalized" but not as badly, perhaps.
I think it can be easily likened to the typical bully situation one
experiences in school. The big mean football player pushes you down in
gym class. What do you do?
A. Push him back. Harder.
B. Go tell Mommy and Daddums
C. Write mean things about him on the bathroom wall.
I would say that B & C is what many people (including newbie) do who
feel impotent and slighted.
And if you're not careful, you'll fall into that trap as well. Only
because you seem to agree that answer "C" is the best course of action
(likening "writing on the bathroom wall" to putting up a site).

Not necessarily to the one paying the bills. To think otherwise,
you're fooling yourself.
