i don't get that statement. i don't come here with the same mindset
apparently. i either post questions about a programmatic problem, or i
answer questions about programmatic problems. it's all real to
me...especially when a solution is found and where that solution completes a
package of deliverables that earns me a very real paycheck.
if moultard is truly acting the character omh out in usenet, i really just
don't understand the point. there are tons of other digital forms of
entertainment out there. why anonymously be an asshole? being one in real
life is much more fun...you can get into a real fight with real people and
real consequences then. at least you'd know you were alive. playing this
shit online just makes you feel even more plastic and ineffectual in your
real life - it's the nature of the medium. poor moultard just doesn't get
that whole drawback yet.
