I may be looking at this problem from the wrong direction but if your
form method is a post you will not see the parameters in the url, if
your form method is a get you will.
examples:
<form method="POST" action="test.php">
<input type="HIDDEN" name="x" value="yes">
example url:
http://www.something.com/test.php
<form method="GET" action="test.php">
<input type="HIDDEN" name="x" value="yes">
example url:
http://www.something.com/test.php?x=yes
