 That should be qualified - *some* graphics are better done in png than jpg.
 
 Photos should be jpg. Line drawings, pictures of text, most clip-art and
 other images with a limited number of colors should usually be png, as
 well as images that use transparency. Note, however, that a 32-bit png
 can be a pretty hefty file size. Use an indexed color palette (8-bit)
 for a more light-weight png.
