I have seen where some of our new servers come with SQL Express
installed by the vendor. The SQL Express is used to run a help/
diagnostics system provided by the vendor. You could have a vendor
product that uses SQL Express as an imbedded database. If you do not
need the product you should be able to uninstall the vendor product.
The vendor uninstall should take the database with it but if it
doesn't you could manually uninstall it.
If you do find the vendor product that uses the database and you need
that product I suggest contacting the vendor about the error since the
vendor should know about it and hopefully has a resolution.
