Works just fine in IE, kiddo, although I have no idea what you mean by
"scriptable", I'm not trying to "script" anything, I'm just using a
sound object, which works fine with pretty much anything, it's just
certain browsers support predefined functions for controlling such
objects.

You uh..you do know they're up to version 1.7.8 now, right? I'm just
sayin, if yer gonna use some off the wall piece of shit you should at
the very least keep it updated.

Yes, it works just fine under teh latest versions of IE and Netscape
and in a few days teh latest version of FireFox. The rest of the
browsers out there...well they don't really count. I can't make your
black and white TV display color, you need you to quit your bitching
and go buy a new one.
