Typical simple CSS mouseover, no need for script in that.
In CSS files check out #ish a:hover... background image is
http://www.alistapart.com/pix/ishbug.gif and place of it is just changed on
that effect. Plenty of those in web. No point use script for something this
simple that can be done more nicely with plain CSS.
Annoying part of layout is that it's designed 1024x768 minimum resolution. I
basically never have that big browser window even of my screen is bigger
than that. They could easily have made main column fluid and that layout
would have worked on 800x600 resolution too.
