Hello,
I used php to redirect several pages for example:
<? Header( "HTTP/1.1 301 Moved Permanently" ); Header( "Location:
https://www.scaiecat-spa-gigi.com/it/svezia/temperature-svezia-gennaio-2005.php" )
; ?>
This sounds to be one of the methods suggested on the following page to
redirect a page permanently
http://www.webconfs.com/how-to-redirect-a-webpage.php
I used this kind of redirect for several pages. Yet, I still get in the
statistics much more temporary redirect than permanent redirect, so I am
wondering whether this redirect worked.
This is a piece of the loggfile:
GET /it/svezia/vaestra-goetaland/partille.php HTTP/1.1" 302 348
Yet I had used
<? Header( "HTTP/1.1 301 Moved Permanently" );
Header( "Location:
http://www.scaiecat-spa-gigi.com/it/svezia/vaestra-goetaland/partille.php" );
?>
So, why did I not find the code 301 instead of the code 302 in the logfile?
