Like yourself I hunted for good php tutorial websites and they are few
and far between .

You could probably do worse that downloading phpgb and using that as a
template website to hack around and experiment with .

As i'm still a bit of a php newbie myself theres no weirdo syntax bits
of coding and its all pretty much straight forward stuff .

Your most common basic newbie questions on how to put a php variable
into a url etc are yours for the taking if you work your way though the
code to see what bits do what .

Just dont take anything on it as gospel as there is lots of stuff I plan
to rewrite later .
