A background colour can be but I have not heard that a color can
be (like a border or font...). It can be the same as a
background but it needs normally to be set thus - at which point
it is pointless.

So: the css file as such in its essence is fine eh? But when it
has to perform its function, it fails? But is really fine in
itself? No? Ok, let me try again: The css file neither works nor
does not work or you don't know but when it is tested in a non
html working test-rig (a css validator maybe) it gives off
warnings. No, the validator gives off warnings. Like what? A
sort of fog horn sound? Different sounds like the tugs on Sydney
harbour go? There is no look-up table to assist you on the
meanings of the different sounds? So you need to ask here what
could be wrong? Post some .wav files and we will all have
guesses...
Am delightfully bemused as always Luigi you old dear blossom
you...
