I might be looking in the wrong direction but....

Where did you put $carro into $_SESSION['carro'] or where did you
instanciate $_SESSION['carro'] as a cart object ?

It seems like $_SESSION['carro'] is not an object. You may put $carro into
your $_SESSION later in the script so that would explain why it's working
except on the first run.
