Finger pickers do not get better than Hubert Sumlin. The man was good
enough that Howlin' Wolf hung up his guitar and allowed Hubert the
lead for the next 20+ years together.

While I love some of the old masters the recordings drive me crazy
with the tonal and recording quality. I guess I am spoiled by
technology. However I ran across a CD by Lightnin' Hopkins, Picture On
The Wall, that was reenginered and run through some sort of process
that frankly was amazing. Late 40's and early 50's recordings that
sound like modern recordings. I believe it was a label called "Our
World".
