I'm assuming that Poofter is not quite what he seems, but he isn't me
unless I'm suffering from Multiple Personality Disorder and have an
unethical-troll personality of which I'm unaware.
It's possible that he's a previous award-winner, in which case we
might have the exciting prospect of a re-vote for one or two awards,
but I think he's more likely to be somebody who's new to AUK. (It was
Hatter who brought him here, but trolling Hatter into doing one's
dirty work doesn't require one to be a rocket scientist.)

Quite. My practice when trolling in AUK (which I've done exactly twice
in the last three years) is to reveal the troll not later than the
time when the first nomination appears. I might play along with other
people's trolls a little longer, if they don't involve net-abuse or
other fuckheadery, but the ballot itself is sacred.
