First, I admit to using only html 4.01 and not to being interested -
at this time - to progressing to CSS. If that doesn't bother you, see
if you figure out my problem.

I wrote two pages, put them in a folder, and ftp'd them up to my host.
What I would like to accomplish for the viewer to click a link at the
bottom of the first page and jump to the second page. Then, the
viewer could click a link at the bottom of the send page and jump back
to the first page.

First page contains:

<a href="links2.html">Go to Page 2</a>

Second page contains:

<a href="links.html">Back to Page 1</a>

Clicking the link on the first page does send the viewer to page 2.
Clicking the link on page 2 sends the viewer to my host's "Page Not
Found"

When I look at the source on page 2, the link is

a href="links.html/">Back to Page 1</a>

I've re-ftp'd, but each time that extra forward slash is inserted even
though it's not in what I ftp up. It seems that this forward slash is
the problem.

Where's my error or what's my solution?

BTW, this is a test page. The actual page will have links to more
than two pages, but if I can't get it to work with two pages....
