There are over 6 billion human beings on the planet, but how many sea
gulls? -20 million? -200 million? I don't know the precise number but
I guarantee it's a lot lower than the number of human beings by several
multiples. Ergo, although sea gulls as a whole probably pollute the
environment less damagingly than do humans, each individual sea gull
contributes a proportionally greater percentage of it's share of dirty
work than that contributed by man and probably woman. This means that
neither you nor I nor anyone else need feel guilty about gulltry.
