Interesting report. Back in the "old daze" (-I dunno, '90 perhaps) I
used to test viri on a secondary computer. I'd run whatever prog with
the virus in it, record the effects, then clean and restore any damaged
system, etc., files (-it was easier back then.) This one virus actually
made the hard disk heads go from one end to the other at like 1000 times
a second; you could hear 'em a-scratchin'. Anyway, everything was going
along just fine until the computer unexpectedly crashed. Never did
figure out why but I don't experiment with software anomalies anymore.
