The script was never meant to need to know the difference between
Firefox and Netscape as they both use the same engine, but hey, I'm

Those filters aren't proprietary actually, it's just other browser
makers choose to try and include their own half assed support rather
than rely on what's already on your system.

The browser itself doesn't do that in IE on the PC, Kiddo.

Of course you did, the script really only needs to tell the difference
between IE for Windows, IE for Mac and everything else.
