There's nothing wrong with it _as_code_, but as a portfolio it's bad.
I don't care if your portfolio site works or not - it's your site, not
my problem if it doesn't. All I care about for your portfolio is what it
tells me about your skills as a developer. Now what this code tells me
is that you're someone who knocks out sloppy code by default. Maybe in
this case it doesn't matter, but what happens if you do similar things
to _my_ site ? When I could have a good site, or I could have your
site, which am I likely to pick?
You're advertising your services as being _cheap_, not as being _good_.
Now that's a reasonable strategy - it works for McDonalds after all.
However it's a funny way to sell things to other web developers.
