Isn't this just one of the standard Publish settings for Flash? No code
involved, Flash will rescale a movie to fit your browser window on the fly
anyway, won't it?

Given that the logo/video stays locked in position against the background,
wouldn't it be more efficient to render the logo against a chunk of
background (rather than transparent) and lose the transparency completely?
That way you do the compositing at your end to save the end-user's Flash
player from having to do all that repetitive stuff. Might mean a marginally
larger video clip I suppose, but the static background should compress down
to next to nothing.

Wonder what sort of performance-hit you take for adding alpha-transparency
video effects, over say plain old vector masking or no masking.
