The newsreader I use is Gravity (no URL handy, but google for it). It
was dropped by the original developers, but picked up again by someone
else. Still, it's a great product. There's also Forte (Free) Agent,
XNews and others.

If you're on *nix, try tin or Pan (if you prefer a GUI).
