No, that's a problem with the script, or rather the nature of
Flash/ActionScript, basically it's running a series of function at
every frame, with 15 frames a second, so all the functions are being
clocked 15 times a second.

I'm thinkin I might just lose the mouse enhancement, or cut out most
of the functions. Like I have to have functions to detect when your
mouse moves off the board otherwise it'll leave the image on there and
then it looks like you have two mice, which is weird lookin. Also if
you jerk your mouse off the top (hrmmm that sounded kinda dirty) or
off to the left side too fast it'll do the same anyway.

Hrmmm...do you know what version of Flash you have installed? I
wonder if my detection script is working right. If you don't have
Flash 8 it's not going to look good, that I know for certain.

Beats me, not my department. They gave me a "finished" DVD with
content that they authored and then I ripped and reencoded it for the
prototype. They certainly didn't do a very professional job of it
though, neither the recording nor the voice over nor the "acting"...I
don't think the students in the class were overly thrilled at the idea
of being video taped, if I had been in charge I would have used mock
students and done it up proper.
