Good point - when I said "making the text less demanding", I should perhaps
have said both in terms of its comprehensibility and in terms of its
decoding.
I also suspect that we see an acceleration of stylistic changes on the web,
so the move to shorter paragraphs would be more apparent here. After all, we
are at the cutting edge of cultural change - aren't we?
