Hi Smarties,
The standard template extension seems to be .tpl which is no prob for
me but I'm using Dreamweaver MX as a GUI for making the html template.
The trouble is that DMX doesnt ID the .tpl as html format and is just
all code when I open it in the GUI (can't switch between the three
modes.) To fix this I temporarily rename the .tpl to .htm and work as
normal.
Recently I've tried sending the Smarty template call to the .htm and
it works fine.
1. Is sending the template call to the .htm named template bad? any drawbacks?
2. If anyone knows how to set DMX to treat the .tpl extension as .htm
this would prolly be a better fix. Calling the .htm doesn't feel right
to me.
