More or less looks proper, yet,
A few things you may want to confirm/try out:
see if there is a php.ini in c:\windows, if there is remove it
dont forget to add c:\php to your system path, in winXP it is found by
right clicking on my computer, advanced tab, environment variables,in
the lower list (for the system)
also,
(there is no reason this should happen wrong, but .....) check if the
line
engine = On
is present in php.ini - it should be there.
This may sound silly, but one last thing that I can think of is making
a directory named php in C:\Pro.....\\\Apache2\htdocs and saying that
your doc_root is C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache2\htdocs\php
Also, check to see DocumentRoot in the httpd.conf file is set to the
htdocs folder.
Apart from these I cannot think of anything as yet. When you do get the
solution, kindly post it, as it seems to be interesting.
