Of course.

I'm sure the owners of the blogs won't mind if you politely join in the
various threads. "Polite" includes (among other things) being on topic,
targetting your discussions, being respectful, and posting only a
reasonable number of messages that don't continualy repeat themselves.

Or make your own blog. If people are interested in your subject matter
they will google the topic and find _your_ blog with that info on it.

Huh? I thought you just said you were against spam of any kind? Now you

Do you really think that being a "non-profit organization , working for
gender equality" makes any difference? The above is what spammers do.
You do that and you are a spammer. Can you say - "Welcome to SPEWS - good
bye connectivity" - ?

That is the sort of numeric count think that all spammers like to believe
will keep them out of trouble. What number should we give? Do you think
that sending one less than some magic number will suddenly mean your bot
becomes an intelligent contributing member of society?

OK this is the number - as little as 1 message could be spam depending on
the context - but you are always safe to send one less than that.

A genuinely interested person can post a large number of messages without
being a spammer (though they may be plonked after a while, or flagged as a
kook).

On the other hand, a very small number of messages may instantly get you
into blocking lists when intelligent people recognize the messages as
spam. The message doesn't need to appear commercial to be recognized.
Intelligent people can see when the poster wasn't really responding, but
simply using the thread as an excuse to post. And also, as soon as an
interested person, i.e. a person who visits a number of blogs on the
topic, as soon as they see your same comment posted in multiple places
then they will know for sure - your posts will quickly be recognized as
representing a tiny abusive minority who use bots to try make themselves
appear more important than they really are.

Ultimately _that_ recognition will be far worse for what ever cause you
espouse.

: ..... any suggestions ??

Sure, don't spam. Feel free to join in. Intelligent conversation
requires intelligence, but it's always welcome.
