OMG this is messy!
I tried setting up a basic network user and getting IIS Admin to logon
as that user. The start just hangs with Starting and the only way to
get out of it is to reboot! Even better, unless IIS Admin is set as
Disabled something (not WWW, FTP, NNTP or SMTP - they're all set as
disabled) keeps trying to start it at boot even if it's flagged as
Manual.
Giving the network Full Control access to the IIS server doesn't work -
IIS Admin still hangs during startup and needs reboot to clear.
Getting desperate - it's an internal web server so sod the security and
try setting the logon as Administrator. That handles the logon but then
IIS can't supply any web pages.
Back to the drawing board.
