on that note, if you don't mind paying for an application ($9), SQLYog (
http://sqlyog.com ) combines the usefulness of an administrator tool and a
very fancy query browser. you can do backups and restores and a few other
things, and working with tables is a breeze. Haven't checked out the new
version. worked with version 3. now version 5 is out.
