For the ones who don't want or cannot use the HPWS package from HP, and
because the information in the PHP manual is completely outdated, I have
just written a step by step tutorial explaining how to compile Apache 2.0
and PHP 5.1.2 under HP-UX 11i (11.11).

It includes most modules and extensions (zlib, SSL, LDAP, iconv, expat,
xml, xslt, gd, png, Xpm, jpeg, freetype, bzip2, curl, MySQL, PostgreSQL,
Oracle, AdoDB) and explains how to build every dependent libraries from
scratch (And PHP CAN be compiled as a shared module under HP-UX :-).
