For me it seems as the script doesn't get interpreted at all ...
in the beginning of the script you have <? this is a normal
open tag for the browser ... everything in it will be seen as
tag attributes/etc ...
then the first -> closes this tag ... and as the tag doesn't
open again everything will be printed ...

pherhaps you do not have php installed on your webserver or
have not enabled it.

tell us what server software and OS you have so we can help
you out ...
