It's called an attribution line.

When you get a decent newsreader, you will have an option to create anything
you like. Some feel that they should be kept simple, and that crazy
attribution lines are annoying. But then you will have people complaining
about all sorts of things. First on the list is probably top-posting, Usenet
ettiquette is pretty much universally opposed to it.
