| The note about HTML mail and spam checking can save him the trouble of
| starting to ask why the mail is rejected when sent to some people, but in
the
| end it's up to the op if he cares about it or not, but he did get an
answer to
| his question.
hmmm...so it is more important to answer questions to problems that *MAY*
exist *BEFORE* they are asked *IN LEU OF* giving answers to problems that
*DO* exist and are currently *BEING INQUIRED*. that's rediculous!
you didn't even read his whole post, did you?! he can send an html message
to an outlook client and have it still look as desired when forwarded to a
lotus notes client. your assumption about potential problems is not founded
and silly...his smtp server isn't filtering it out based on spam settings,
is it! his problem is that he CAN directly receive his html email in lotus
notes...it just looks shitty. now, what does that tell you?
and from you, yes, he did get an answer...to a non-existant problem to a
question he *NEVER* asked. from me, a possible theory as to why it is not
behaving as expected, a request to see the actual raw message data being
sent which will allow me to confirm said theory...AND, a working example of
multi-part, attachement, and branding capable, rfc compliant email class -
that is in production on one of my servers.
now, you want to talk some more about how the bosses have their heads up
their asses?!!! before trump tells you, i'll say it: you're fired!
