FWIW, I had a similar problem. I haven't bothered to run
down the cause, but a temporary workaround has been to use
Firefox instead of IE. I seem to recall some mention of
doing this or that for IE, but we've been far more
interested in PHP programming than tweaking WAMP. Opera
seems to work OK as well.
I'm using the PHPDev WAMP package on a single system, not
networked.
