Might be worth shopping around for alternate hosting service to see what
programming languages are supported and other features like SQL are available
through them.

Not sure if there is a 3rd party service that keeps track of that type of
information, but you could present a shopping list if services that do and
service that don't. The use of PHP an MySQL has been popular and would seem odd
for a hosting company to just ignore that.
