Strange problem.

I do not have a solution, but I know the request that goes through the
firewall to your webserver is just containing the cookie in its bytestream.
What the request contains is NOT the firewall's business.

It LOOKS like your firewall is doing something more than blocking/nat....
It looks like your firewall is looking at the content too. :-/

If you are sure you didn't change anything else, contact your
firewallvendor, or read their documentation.

Are you sure you didn't also change domains/ip/etc or something like that?
