I've sent a request in to their support people to see if this is
possible. I did look on their web site and cron jobs were not listed as
included in my basic (4.99 per month), hosting package.

Cron jobs were, however, included in their more advanced 'managed
server' package - but this package was listed as 79.99 per month!!!

Hmmmm... I'll see what their support people say - they may be able to
include this for me at a cheaper rate.

Aho, I guess there are no other alternatives than a cron job?
