What might have also been pointed out is that it's a courtesy to other
usenauts to feed one's CSS (and HTML too) to the appropriate checkers
first, and to iron out these trivia before seeking help. It's
demeaning to ask humans to carry our trivial mechanical checks that
are so easily done by computer.

(It's particularly easy to do that if you install Chris Pederick's web
developer toolbar for Mozilla or Firefox).
