Yes, that's a good idea. I was trying to avoid using an image for text
if at all possible, but it might be an answer. I would have to find a
way to get some <h1> text somewhere else on the page with the society's
name. I have also been considering making a .gif with the text on two
lines so that it would always remain in the blue area.

It'll be a day or two until I have a chance to try anything though.
